About
Georg Kargl Fine Arts specializes in contemporary art. Since 2018, under Inés Lombardi's guidance, the gallery mission incorporates ambitious exhibitions and artists projects, performances and talks, art fairs and biennials, institutional collaborations and public projects.
Founded by Georg Kargl in 1998, the gallery has focused on innovative emerging and established artists, both Austrian-based and international, who work across various media—supporting their visions and promoting vital dialogue with institutions, critics, curators and collectors.
With an exhibition space of more than 350 m2, Georg Kargl Fine Arts has the scope to produce exhibitions to match artists' intentions and vision. Today the gallery has two additional locations: BOX, with a storefront designed by Richard Artschwager and PERMANENT, dedicated to experimental projects. Furthermore, since its inception Georg Kargl Fine Arts has provided a strong impact on revitalizing the neighborhood as well as on the Viennese art scene.
